He *Grumbles* for his kisses,
He *Grumbles* for his tea,
He *Grumbles* for all the things he Loves,
But would wish no harm upon fleas!
He is a *Grumbly* sort of bear,
Bi-Polar to the bone!
He *Grumbles* when he is full of Love,
He *Whines* when he has none.

The Shoes who were A Pair!
All the folk chimed, "The match is quite good!",
Though the laces were not quite the same.
The Left Shoe never made a sound.
The Right Shoe squeaked when it rained!
They never would be parted,
Found together everywhere.
Strong Love kept them together...

The Gingerbread Man's Magic Bake
One wintery night in my kitchen,
as the ticking of time grew late,
sweet smelling spices and the Spirit of Christmas
came to life in the glow of a magic bake!
Such love was put into the making of dough,
that each drop-sheet cookie sprang to life!
They were having such fun in the oven's warm glow,
they woke from her sleep my sweet wife.
"What short lives we live, so we dance and we sing!",
said the wisest of cookies to his baker and king.
as the ticking of time grew late,
sweet smelling spices and the Spirit of Christmas
came to life in the glow of a magic bake!
Such love was put into the making of dough,
that each drop-sheet cookie sprang to life!
They were having such fun in the oven's warm glow,
they woke from her sleep my sweet wife.
"What short lives we live, so we dance and we sing!",
said the wisest of cookies to his baker and king.
And as the sun rose with a warm golden light,
two-by-two, they layed flat on the plate.
They sang "Thank you for such a wonderful night!",
and blissfully resigned to their fate.
two-by-two, they layed flat on the plate.
They sang "Thank you for such a wonderful night!",
and blissfully resigned to their fate.

The Christmas Which Wasn't
Ages ago, in a time like the Present,
There descended upon us
A Christmas which wasn't!
Our day was rushed past us
Just like any other.
There were no hearts a'warming,
No kind letters from others.
All around us was Christmas,
But no one could see,
For no Love was abounding,
Nor was Frolic, nor Glee.
Our Traditions lost meaning
But the meanings were not lost,
For we broke from the spells
Under which we'd been bossed.
The crewelwork which adorned
The thrones of "The Ring"
Obscured from our view
Their self-centered schemes.
Through their wealth, through their fame
Through their powerful might,
They corrupted our values
And they captured our rights.
Their ruse could not last,
For all creation is flawed.
The Awakening came quickly
And "The Ring" lost their law.
Now, dear ones who read me,
Consider what's right.
If we kill all that feeds us,
Will we not drop from sight?
The sweet smells, they stir me.
I wake again from a spell,
Which enchants us to forget things
That our hearts love so well.
Common sense should rule us,
Just as wisdoms rule kings.
Once we played as children
Without need of many things.
All our needs were provided,
So we frolicked and we played.
Our title was "Stream Helpers",
We played at work every day.
What spell now weaves 'round us?
What holds separate our sight?
We can all see the difference
Between sickness and life!
Who wins in a war?
Sure not those who would fight!
How can victory be counted
From losses so great?
Who looks down on our difference?
Sure no two are alike!
We may have different color,
But we share the same light.
I call out to my readers,
While we live, its not late!
Let us rekindle Christmas
From the greed and the hate!
Let's be Noble this Christmas.
It may take us some time,
But time will show
Our Love will grow
And the world will surely shine!
Once Kings and Queens were common.
Once Wisdom ruled with mirth,
And once our merry time was spent
In caring for the earth.
My readers, you're the reason
I write these words for you.
For Christmas is the season
Which is fading from our view.
Dear readers, if you wish to help,
I know there's much to do.
Just write to me and we shall see
What together we can do!

Awaken to Dreams
Once upon a fine day in Spring
My love and I strolled hand-in-hand
To see the miracles Nature brings
When we found ourselves in Faerie Land!
We walked along and dreamed aloud
The world we would love to see:
Gardened forests to enchant a crowd
Who would protect Earth's natural beauty.
From our Path we gazed in awe
For life danced all around
What once was hidden from our sight
Was suddenly profound!
The Fae who heard our loving wish
Showed sign of Granted Dreams!
On the Path, in shafts of light,
Shone moth and butterfly wings!
When time arrived to steal us back,
They fancied we should stay,
Magic Mists hung in the air...
We thought we'd lost our way!
Sir Charles led us through their trap,
Emerging from their woods.
We took along the seeds of Fae
Within our hearts for good.

The Wish List
When Winter's winds stop whipping,
and the snow hangs in the air,
be sure to look around you
for the faeries who are there!
They play their games with time,
Catching us in magic places.
They are difficult to find,
but sometimes Yule see their faces!
Be good-hearted, make kind wishes,
while their magic fills the air,
and rest assured your wish was heard,
for the faeries, they are there!
Sometimes they are forgetful,
losing wishes while they play,
but you can always write to Kringle,
who keeps the Wish List up to date!

December 21 - Winter Solstice
There was once an Age when folk would count the stars...now so very few are left who can find the time to cast a skyward glance, let alone celebrate the turnings. Winter Solstice is just that: a celebration of turnings...from shrinking days to growing days, from darkness to light. This is a day of new beginnings. A day of fresh starts.
It is customary amongst the fae to create a list of "In's and Outs":
